Lac Le Jeune Store

The store is open for the summer! Linda and Walter have stocked the shelves and freezer with the usual necessities like chips, ice, and popsicles. :-) They can try to carry other items that we tend to run out of in our homes, like milk and bread, but only if we buy them! Also, boat rentals are available and Walter can offer some tips on fishing.

The store hours are 10 - 5:30, with a 12 - 1:00 lunch break.

Hey, just wondering where exactly this store is? Thanks! :-)

@Nikki The store is in downtown Lac Le Jeune. If you cross a bridge over a lake you've gone too far! :-D

Thanks, Sylvia! We moved up here recently & I'm still finding my way around! :')

Hi If you or someone you know happened to take the little black trailer from beside the gate at the ski hill on June 28 or 29. Please could you call us so we can get it back, the boys were using it to build jumps for their mountain bikes and wrecked the wheel and my husband didn't have a chance to go get it before it disappeared. We would really appreciate it back. Thanks please call 250-377-0032

@Anonymous -- I posted your notice about the lost trailer. Hopefully it will get more attention that way. I don't know who you are, so if you'd like for me to add your name to the post let me know! Also, if you'd like to be a blog author (so you can post items to the blog) just send me email and I'll get you set up: sylvia@webbedfeat.com

Hi, I'm going camping next week, and would like to know what the store has...

Is there propane (little bottles (for coleman stoves) and normal size (20 pounds)?

If not, how far do we have to go to get this kind of things (also, gas for the boat)?

Good questions, Frank! My guess is you'll need to purchase these items before coming to the camp site. But if you run out of gas for your boat and propane for your stove, there's a Petro Canada station and Canadian Tire about 35 kilometres away in Kamloops.

I'll pass your questions along to the store though. If they have propane we'll post an update here.

Thanks.. That leads me to the next question:

Where can I find the pricing to rent a boat...
Wondering if it's better to buy an engine here for my boat, or to rent a 14ftish and engine when I get there..

Fishing isn't as great without a boat.

Hi Frank,
I wandered down to the store yesterday to get some answers for you.
1. You can buy small propane bottles -- coleman stove size -- but not larger ones
2. Boat rental is 12 hrs for $65; 1/2 day for $50; or $30/hr. This includes a 4 hp mercury motor and gas. Boats are 12' or 14' princecraft.
3. You can rent motors separately. They are 3 h yamaha, 2 cycles for $30/day.
4. Gas is not sold separately from boat/motor rentals
5. Number to call is 250-372-2722

Googled and found this...just curious if store is still around and if boat rentals are still available for 2015? I grew up in kamloops and am returning home with my family and sons in July and would love to take them out fishing.

The Lac Le Jeune Resort still rents boats as far as I know. You can find contact information on their website: http://laclejeuneresort.com/
