Pine Grosbeaks

The pine grosbeaks are usually here by mid to late November. Has anyone seen them?

We didn't see many Evening Gros Beaks this year in Logan Lake. From what I hear, they come in cycles - one year many will come, the next there will be few. Perhaps the Pine Gros Beaks are the same.

We have a small trout pond in our yard and have planted many trees and shrubs as bird habitat. The pond attracts many birds but I don't remember seeing any Pine Gros Beaks in the yard at all this year.
