The date for the Red-Winged Blackbird Social is fast approaching! In preparation for the big night, here are some questions. And we even have answers!

Where are the red-winged blackbirds?
Good question! We named this event in honour of these birds that return to Lac Le Jeune this time of year, but we haven't seen any yet!

What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. for cocktails. Dinner is at 6:00 pm.

Will there be parking?
There is ample parking at the Lac Le Jeune Wilderness Resort. Still, car pooling isn't a bad idea.

What should I wear?
Be comfortable. You might want shoes/boots that will get you from the car to the restaurant, but are also suitable for wearing indoors for a few hours.

Are there still tickets?

We are SOLD OUT. But if you're really sad contact Sylvia Currie (sylvia.currie@gmail.com) because she might know about cancellations (see next question)

What if I purchased tickets and now I can't go?
You can give or sell your tickets to someone else.

Is this event a fund-raiser for the Lac Le Jeune Conservation Association?
No, all money from the sale of the tickets goes to the fantastic folks who will be feeding us.

I have a contribution for the door prizes. What do I do with it?
Email Sylvia Currie (sylvia.currie@gmail.com) and let her know when and where to pick it up. And thanks in advance!

Will there be entertainment?
Yes! We have a fun DJ who will play us a fine selection of music. The entertainment begins at 7:00 p.m.

I have food allergies. What should I do?
There will be a variety of dishes to choose from, so you should be able to avoid eating foods you are allergic to. There will be staff available who can advise you about ingredients.

Why did the Lac Le Jeune Conservation Association organize this dinner?
Because we want to gather people together to socialize and eat good food.
