Red Dot Campaign

This works!

Would you like to stop receiving junk mail? Visit the Red Dot Campaign website and follow one or more of the steps listed under Take Action.

Carolyn Phillips reports that after filling out the form supplied on the Red Dot Campaign website she stopped receiving all unaddressed print advertising.

If you want to get rid of addressed junk mail, why not mark it "refused by addressee" and dump it back in the mailbox? I've been doing that for a while, if for nothing else than to get even!! See Canada Post for info http://www.canadapost.ca/business/offerings/supplementary_services_bus/can/return-e.asp

More importantly, fillout this form on the Canadian Marketing Association website:
http://www.the-cma.org/?WCE=C=47|K=224217 and link to this page
https://cornerstonewebmedia.com/cma/submit.asp

Using the two above methods we've pretty much eliminated all addressed junk mail and telephone solicitation calls after about 3-4 months!!

More recently I've also used http://ioptout.ca/ .

Getting rid of junk mail is easier than noisy snow mobiles...

Good luck

Speaking of getting even, if the unsolicited mail has a prepaid envelope inside, I place all the paper that came with it into the envelope and put it in the mailbox. The sender then has to pay the postage.

Not getting it at all would be a better solution. Thanks for the websites.
