Adopt a pet from TRU

Here are some pets for adoption from the Animal Health Technology at Thompson Rivers University.

Lenny: An 8 mth old Catahoula/Dane/Mastiff?? cross. He is still a pup and needs continued training but has come a long way since he arrived in the program. He can be possessive of food and toys around other dogs. He is a high energy dog that enjoys playtime with other dogs, swimming, car rides, walks and playing with toys. He is housetrained and very loyal once he knows you are his person. VERY FOOD MOTIVATED so easy to train. Okay with cats. No kids. Gets along great with Finn :-)

Finn: Approximately 3 yr old Lab/Pitbull cross. He is very well trained, calm and good with other dogs of all sizes. Loves going for walks, play fetch and play with other dogs. He can be possessive of food and toys around other dogs. Finn is active but is also a couch potato! Needs work with cats. Older kids would be okay. Gets along great with Lenny :-)

Luke: Approximately 1 yr old DSH. Very affectionate and fun loving. SUPER cute!! Gets along well with other cats and dogs too. Likes to be picked up, cuddled and belly rubs. Has mild/moderate gingivitis. Will need ongoing dental care and possible tooth extractions in future. Would be great with kids!

Jake: Approximately 1.5 yr old DSH grey tabby. Very affectionate once he gets to know you. He is a bit shy to start. Jake is very gentle, sweet and quiet; a true gentleman. He would prefer an adult home (grandmas or grandpas would be perfect!). He gets along with other cats and calm dogs.
