photo by Fred and Julia PlatteelWe've been hearing plenty of stories about this big, healthy lynx that has been wandering around the neighbourhood. Now we finally have photos! He (she?) doesn't seem to be very shy and obviously has plenty to eat. At our house we're wondering if this cat might be responsible for our shrinking grouse population -- we've gone from 5 to 2 at our bird feeder in the past week.

Ted here visiting at David and Kathy Wyse and want to report a lynx looking just like your photos was observed on Lookout Rd. at the top of your driveway this morning March 5 at 8:00 am. Alas, no photos to share but what a beautiful sight.
Aloha Ted! I ran down the street in my pajamas and got a picture of that cat's rear end the other morning. Not exactly blog-worthy. :-) Keep watching, and have that camera ready!
