The 26 March, 2013 District of Logan Lake Council Meeting will be of interest to communities in the surrounding areas. There will be a presentation by Noelle Kakula, a recreation officer with the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, in support of a proposal for Logan Lake and surrounding areas to become a provincial destination for off-road ATV riding. This proposal includes the development of a 317-kilometre (35,000 ha) trail network in and around Face Lake, Forge Mountain and Logan Lake.Some members of the Lac Le Jeune Conservation Association will be attending. Council meetings are open to the public. The more residents informed about this project the better.
