The speed limit for motorized boats is 20 km/hour. It can be tempting to travel at a higher speed if you have a large motor, but please reserve that temptation for visits to larger lakes!
This speed limit is set to protect our shoreline habitat, but it also ensures our shared recreational swimming, paddling, and fishing activities are more enjoyable and safe for all.

We need a horse power restriction on the lake and possibly a boat size restriction to go along with it!
Come on all you retired folks, get on this.
And how about THE LAC LE JEUNE CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION?....Seems like a priority to me.

Be sure to list everything you've done to help with this issue so the retired people can be sure not to duplicate your efforts :D But seriously, connect with your LLJCA area rep or anyone on the board if you have ideas, suggestions, knowledge, energy...
I'd like to help. Is there someone I can write a letter to in government? I assume it would be Fisheries? If you get a name and address, I'd be happy to add my voice!
Most lakes have speed restrictions rather than go by boat/motor size. However, some lakes (Tunkwa) do have horse power restrictions. It might because it is a provincial park, so that gov office might be the place to start.
